Located at 267 Collins Street Melbourne (lower ground floor), this award winning salon opened for business in February 2009. Offering a complete range of ladies and men’s hair cutting, styling, colouring and straightening services. Preen’s five senior staff members, combine over 40 years hairdressing experience, offer nothing less than excellence in hair design and education. Owners Melissa Bowman and Chris Kapetanov have worked in Melbourne salons for the past 16 years. Their combined experience, creativity, and flair ensure that your appointment at Preen is handled in a professional, courteous and friendly manner.

Preen is a spacious salon with a separate basin room and a dozen cutting stations. You are welcome to enjoy a complimentary beer or glass of wine during your appointment. A range of teas or coffee from the salon’s Gaggia machine is also available.

Melissa (owner):  Colourist and stylist. Winner in the 2012 American Crew cutting awards.
Part of the Revlon Professional Colour specialist team.

Chris (owner):  Stylist and session stylist for Kevin Murphy.
Finalist in the 2011 American Crew cutting awards.

Jenny: Technical colour specialist. Over 20 years experience in colour.

Vince:  Colourist and stylist. American Crew Alfa stylist. Finalist in the 2011 American Crew cutting awards.

Poppy: Colourist and stylist. Specialising in bridal hair, straightening and extension work.
Finalist in the 2010 American Crew cutting awards.

Sarah:  Qualified Junior Stylist. Specialising in tape hair extensions.

Jelena: 2nd year apprentice.
