Chris Kapetanov
Owner/principal Stylist
Famed for his Precision Cutting and Styling for over 20 years, Chris lives to cut hair. His passion and expertise is in high demand, travelling nationwide and internationally, styling and training with names such as Kevin Murphy, American Crew and Vidal Sassoon.
A Gold Key member of Kevin Murphy Styling team sees Chris styling hair on the runway for Melbourne Spring Fashion Week and Myer A/W shows. A Top 20 Finalist nationally 5 years in a row at the American Crew Face Off Styling Competition, Chris excels in a wide variety of cuts and hair lengths.
Melissa Bowman
Owner/principal Stylist
A much sought after principal stylist on the Melbourne Fashion scene, Melissa brings her technical skills and over 16 years experience as a hairdresser and educator to all of her clients. Melissa, is a Winner of the 2012 American Crew Face Off Styling Competition which was an Australian wide competition.
She has been a technical specialist for Wella, an ambassador for Revlon Professional, and a current ambassador for Nouvelle. Melissa has presented locally in Melbourne, at Salon International in London as well as at prestigious salons in London. Melissa has a long list of celebrity clientele, you never know who you might bump into on your next visit to Preen.
Ngari Worthington
Senior Stylist
Our confident, creative and motivated senior stylist is friendly natured and very customer service oriented. Ngari thrives on building their her clientele by completing all aspects of hairdressing duties such as providing hair colouring services, cuts, styling etc.
Ngari’s constant training and development has given her the ability to promote haircare products so that clients can keep their hair in the best possible condition. Ngari has completed her apprenticeship at Preen and we couldn’t be prouder.

Am SUPER happy with my new cut, courtesy of Vince @ Preen. I basically told him to do what he wanted and I walked out with a short (chin-length at the longest layers) choppy graduated bob (but not really Pob-like though) that I LOVE!!! Very, very happy. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Try Chris at Preen. He’s the Director there so a little on the exxy side ($90 for a cut), but he works wonders with my fine, thin hair. He adds enough layers to give it a bit more body (otherwise it usually just lies really flat) but doesn’t go nuts with the layering either.
